University of the Rockies to Host First Denver-Based Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 27
Graduates gather in Denver for University's largest-ever commencement

University of the Rockies will hold its largest-ever commencement ceremony at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Four Seasons Ballroom at the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202.

The graduating class will include more than 200 on-campus and online master's and doctoral degree graduates from across the country. Grads will take part in a traditional ceremony and, for the first time in school history, the annual commencement is being held in Denver.

Themed “Live the Life You Imagined,” the commencement will honor the accomplishments of the graduates and celebrate the next leg of their journey.

Col. Martha E. McSally, the first woman in U.S. history to command a fighter squadron in combat, is this year’s keynote speaker. She earned national recognition for overturning military policy requiring U.S. servicewomen to wear a Muslim abaya and headscarf when off base in Saudi Arabia.
