University of the Rockies Offers Complimentary Professional Development Session for Entrepreneurs
Associate VP and Chief of Staff offers insight into successful entrepreneurship
On Thursday, November 14, 2013, University of the Rockies’ Associate Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness and Chief of Staff, Dr. George Lucas, will present, Entrepreneurship for the Next Generation of Business Owners and Risk Takers, the next in the series of University of the Rockies’ complimentary professional development sessions.
In this presentation, held at University of the Rockies’ Denver Instructional Site in downtown Denver, Dr. Lucas will discuss how entrepreneurship has evolved over the last century, what’s shaping the face of entrepreneurship for the next generation of new business owners and risk takers, and how technology has impacted new business ventures and the entrepreneurial spirit.
“At its core, entrepreneurship is about taking an idea, assuming some risk, and seeing your vision manifest as a successful business venture,” says Dr. Lucas. Adding that, “in today’s world, the core and the baseline principles of entrepreneurship have remained relatively consistent, but the environment in which we execute and operate as entrepreneurs, has changed dramatically.”
Participants may register for the event, to learn more about strategic risk taking and gaining success as a leader and entrepreneur, by calling 303.446.5850 or emailing Denver.email@example.com.
University of the Rockies’ Denver Instructional Site is located at 1201 16th St., Suite 200, Denver, CO 80202.
