University of the Rockies Introduces New Graduate-Level Programs in Education and Human Services
Three new degree programs add to diverse offerings at University of the Rockies

University of the Rockies has announced three new degree programs, including a Master of Arts in Education with two specializations, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education with two specializations, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Services. The new offerings provide students with a larger variety of programs to match their professional goals.

“University of the Rockies’ new education and human services programs meet the needs of  21st century students by providing them with the advanced research and development elements of education leadership, and the diverse research methodologies of human services,” said Dr. Robert Edelbrock, interim dean for the School of Social, Human, and Educational Development.

Students who enroll in the Master of Arts in Education or the PhD in Education will choose from a specialization in Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, or Distance Learning.

The specializations available within the education programs provide students with advanced methods for improving teaching models and frameworks, as well as approaches to improving traditional and distance education.

The PhD in Human Services provides an advanced curriculum that enables students to solve problems and address needs of underserved populations.

University of the Rockies’ new programs are currently offered online and at the Denver Instructional Site in Denver, Colo.
