University of the Rockies Offers Diversity Scholarship to both Online and Campus-Based Students
Scholarship highlights community involvement and personal growth

University of the Rockies is offering a Diversity Scholarship to its students. The $1,500 scholarship will be awarded to a University of the Rockies’ online master’s or doctoral student who has demonstrated significant personal growth or community involvement related to the student’s heritage.

To apply for the Diversity Scholarship, students must submit a 500-word typed essay describing:

  • What the core value of diversity means to the student and how those values have been demonstrated in community involvement;
  • How the scholarship will help the student’s financial situation and support the pursuit of his or her degree; and
  • How the student’s degree will enhance effectiveness in his or her professional role.

In addition, applicants must submit one letter of recommendation from a University of the Rockies faculty member. Students may apply using the online scholarship application by June 29, 2014.

In addition to the Diversity Scholarship, the University offers a number of other scholarships for both online and campus-based students.
