Dr. Charlita Shelton Named a Finalist for the ATHENA Award
Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce to Announce Winner
University of the Rockies President and CEO Dr. Charlita Shelton is one of the 17 finalists for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce ATHENA Award. The ATHENA Award honors the Colorado woman who best exemplifies exceptional professional achievement, devotion to community service, and generosity in actively assisting other women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. A special panel of business and community leaders selects the ATHENA Award finalists from nominations submitted by the Colorado business community.
“I am extremely honored to be nominated for this award,” said Dr. Shelton. “The group of women who are finalists represents the best in Denver and I am proud to be included with them.”
