University of the Rockies Introduces Two New Deans for the Doctoral and Master’s Programs
Drs. Irene Stein and Tami Beaty will oversee the institution's doctoral and master's programs

University of the Rockies, a leading graduate school focused on the social and behavioral sciences, has introduced the addition of two new deans to oversee its doctoral and master’s programs.

Dr. Irene Stein, who currently serves as the acting academic department chair for doctoral studies, has been named dean of doctoral programs. In her new role, Dr. Stein will continue with her current responsibilities to improve the institution’s doctoral programs while adding new opportunities for students.

With more than 12 years of experience in the field of higher education, Dr. Tami Beaty comes to us from University of the Rockies’ sister school, Ashford University, where she served as the associate dean in the College of Health, Human Services, and Sciences. As dean of University of the Rockies’ master’s programs, Dr. Beaty will be responsible for the school’s current and future master’s programs.

“I am excited and look forward to working with Drs. Stein and Beaty,” said Dr. Jeremy Moreland, provost of University of the Rockies. “As an institution rooted in the social and behavioral sciences, the wealth of practical experience Drs. Stein and Beaty bring to University of the Rockies will be particularly beneficial to our students as they pursue a high standard of quality education produced by the institution.” said Dr. Moreland.
