"Recovery Matters" Radio Talk Show to Launch in November

Dr. Jamie Marich, a professional clinical counselor and adjunct faculty member for University of the Rockies, will launch a radio talk show called “Recovery Matters” on November 4, 2010. The first broadcast premiers at 6:00 p.m. EST on the Health & Wellness Channel at www.voiceamerica.com.

“Recovery Matters” will discuss the issue of addiction, both at the societal and individual levels, and introduce potential solutions for addiction recovery. The program will broadcast on the VoiceAmerica Radio Network, a top-rated Internet talk radio network.

“My hope is that this show can truly become an open forum for respectful, thought-provoking discussions on recovery,” says Marich. “It excites me to think that this program can serve as a place where many different perspectives meet to discuss solutions. In both my professional and personal life, it has long upset me when I hear people exclaiming that their approach is the one, right way to go about doing something. I hope that this show will be the antithesis of that.”
