Dr. Stephen Kirkpatrick Promoted to Vice President for Publications

 

University of the Rockies, a graduate school specializing in psychology programs at the master’s and doctoral levels, announces the promotion of Dr. Stephen Kirkpatrick to vice president for publications.

Kirkpatrick will continue to serve as dean of the School of Organizational Leadership, and will take on a dual role as both dean and vice president for publications.

University of the Rockies publishes scholastic material through University of the Rockies Press and the Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture. Kirkpatrick was a founding co-editor of the journal, which launched in 2010.

Kirkpatrick has over 35 years of experience in industrial and organizational psychology and as a consultant to Fortune 100 businesses and not-for-profit associations. His education includes a BA with honors from the University of Delaware (mathematics), and three graduate degrees from the University of Arizona: a Master’s degree in mathematics and statistics, a Master’s degree in counseling and human resources, and a PhD in psychology.

About Dr. Stephen Kirkpatrick

Dr. Stephen Kirkpatrick devoted the first 35 years of his career to industrial and organizational psychology as a consultant to Fortune 100 businesses and not-for-profit associations. His most recent book, Hard Truths, Costly Lies, focuses on practical approaches to facing unpopular hard truths in the effort to build meaning and accountability into the workplace. His education includes a BA with honors from the University of Delaware (mathematics), and three graduate degrees from the University of Arizona: a Master’s degree in mathematics and statistics, a Master’s degree in counseling and human resources, and a PhD in psychology (counseling and educational).  Currently, Dr. Kirkpatrick is dean of the School of Organizational Leadership and vice president for publications at University of the Rockies.
