Amy Kobylinski to be Inducted into Pueblo East High School Athletic Hall of Fame

 

On Friday, May 16, 2008, Amy Kobylinski will be inducted into the Pueblo East High Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame. This marks the third year that Pueblo East athletes have been honored and the award spans three decades; 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's.Ms. Kobylinski, an Olympic Athlete, is the only female athlete to be honored at this year's award ceremony.

As a doctoral student in the clinical psychology program, Ms. Kobylinski completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Colorado State Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado. Currently, she is a lead therapist at the State Hospital of New York in Newburg, New York, where she is working on her dissertation.

Ms. Kobylinski would love to share her accomplishments as an Olympic Athlete with members of the University of the Rockies' community. She feels, "...truly blessed by those who have supported and encouraged me to believe in my talents and achieve my goals." That includes her current goal of receiving her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Rockies.
