Dr. Steven Gray Published in "Handbook of Pediatric Neuropsychology"

Dr. Steven Gray, core faculty member in the School of Professional Psychology at University of the Rockies, has contributed a chapter to the “Handbook of Pediatric Neuropsychology”, published by Springer Publishing Company.

Springer Publishing Company specializes in the fields of nursing, psychology, gerontology, social work, public health and rehabilitation.

The “Handbook of Pediatric Neuropsychology” has been called a landmark reference on all aspects of pediatric neuropsychology, useful both as a training manual for graduate students and as a comprehensive reference for experienced practitioners. Dr. Gray’s chapter is based on his research and experience in pediatric neuropsychology and covers Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). RAD can present as a failure to form normal attachments to primary caregivers, and is often the result of severe neglect, abuse, abrupt separation or changes in caregivers at an early age.

Dr. Gray has over 30 years of clinical experience and operates a private practice with offices in Colorado Springs and Dallas, TX. He is also a registered clinician of the Association for Treatment and Training in the Attachment of Children.

Praise for the book includes:

·         “By far, the most comprehensive and detailed coverage of pediatric neuropsychology available in a single book today…” – Cecil R. Reynolds, Ph.D., Texas A&M University

·         “Chapters written by some of the best researchers and authors in the field of pediatric neuropsychology address every possible perspective on brain-behavior relationships culminating in an encyclopedic text.” – Elaine Fletcher-Janzen, Ed.D., NCSP, ABPdN, of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

The “Handbook of Pediatric Neuropsychology” is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
