Janet Brugger, director of student affairs for University of the Rockies, has been named national chair of the Student Affairs Partnering with Academic Affairs (SAPAA) Knowledge Committee. SAPAA acts as a forum for student affairs professionals, and encourages research and scholarly publication in the area of collaboration between academic and student affairs.

SAPAA is a division of NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. NASPA has over 11,000 members at 1,400 campuses, and is considered the foremost professional association for student affairs administrators.  

Brugger’s two-year term as national chair began this month. She has been a member of NASPA since 2009.
