University of the Rockies to Support the 2011 U.S. Women's Open in Colorado Springs

University of the Rockies, a graduate school specializing in the social and behavioral sciences, is a proud supporter of the 2011 U.S. Women’s Open. The championship will be held on the East Course at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs July 4-10, 2011.

The U.S. Women's Open Golf Championship is one of 13 national championships conducted by the United States Golf Association. It was last played in Colorado Springs in 1995.

Organizers of the championship project an economic impact of more than $20 million to the Colorado Springs community. More than 125,000 spectators are expected to attend the tournament throughout the week.
