Chronic Pain Group to Meet at Rockies Counseling Center

Rockies Counseling Center (RCC) will offer a chronic pain group beginning October 27. Participants will learn new methods to cope with pain and reduce stress, and will also receive group support. 

RCC is a community counseling center operated on-site at University of the Rockies (555 East Pikes Peak Avenue). The center serves individuals, children and families in the Pikes Peak area with a range of high-quality, low-cost therapy services.

The group will meet for six weeks beginning Thursday, October 27. Sessions begin at 5:00 p.m. and will last 90 minutes.

The cost of the group is $10 for the first session and workbook, and $5 per following session. Although it is not required, a stress management CD is also available for $12.
