DENVER, June 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Jeremy Moreland, University of the Rockies provost and chief academic officer, led an interactive round table discussion on May 30, 2018 in Pretoria, South Africa. The session, Leadership, Learning, and Technology: Bridging Practice and Pedagogy, was part of the International Leadership Association's first Regional Conference in Africa. "We must develop a better understanding of how to effectively leverage technology in leadership education," stated Moreland. "During the discussion, we had an exchange of ideas between educators, practitioners, and students in the field, with the hopes of making leadership education more relevant and effective." To continue fostering the dialogue around the use of technology in leadership education, Dr. Moreland will extend the topic to the ILA Global Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, in October. University of the Rockies joined the International Leadership Association in 2017 and Dr. Moreland has been an active member of the organization since joining in 2009. University of the Rockies offers master's and doctoral degrees in Organizational Development and Leadership, as well as other fields in the social sciences.
