HISTORY UoR was founded in 1998 as the Colorado School of Professional Psychology (COSPP) in Colorado Springs, Colo. When COSPP was acquired by Bridgepoint Education in 2007, the name was changed to University of the Rockies. The School of Professional Psychology is now a School within University of the Rockies. EDUCATION UoR, a private academic institution, offers highly specialized social and behavioral science programs at the master’s and doctorate level online and at UoR's Denver, Colorado campus.
