In recognition of National Volunteer Month, University of the Rockies, an advanced institution for tomorrow’s thought leaders owned by Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI), has designated tomorrow, April 14, 2012 to be “University of the Rockies Volunteer Day.” University of the Rockies students across the country are being asked to volunteer tomorrow in a collaborative effort to show the community how much the University’s students care. Students will be posting pictures and sharing their volunteer stories on the University of the Rockies Facebook page and via Twitter, using the #RockiesVolunteers hashtag. Social responsibility has always been a major component of the University of the Rockies experience. The University regularly gives back via time, support and volunteerism to many worthy causes focused on education, youth and the military.
