University of the Rockies brings award-winning documentary film to Colorado Springs
University of the Rockies has rescheduled the one-time, free screening of the film “BULLY” for Saturday, September 22. The original screening date was postponed due to the Waldo Canyon wildfire. “BULLY” documents five children and their families as they struggle with bullying. It is estimated that over 13 million children in the United States will be bullied this year, making it the most common form of violence experienced by young people in the nation. University of the Rockies will present the film during a free, one-time screening at Kimball’s Theater (115 E. Pikes Peak Ave.) on Saturday, September 22. The film will begin at 11:30 a.m. Following the screening, participants are invited to discuss the film at University of the Rockies’ Harvey House Auditorium (555 E. Pikes Peak Ave.). The discussion will be moderated by a licensed clinical psychologist. There is no cost to attend, however seating is limited. RSVPs are required and will be accepted at 866-442-0505 ext. 1638, or to Melissa.Blevins@rockies.edu, while tickets last. The media is invited to attend the screening.
