You don’t have to sell your soul to sell yourself. In fact, “tooting your own horn” can be good for your career and your company. Dr. Gina Hernez-Broome, core faculty member for University of the Rockies, will offer reasons and ways to ethically self-promote during a free professional development seminar on Tuesday, June 4. The free session begins at 4:30 p.m. at University of the Rockies’ Denver Instructional Site in downtown Denver (Tabor Center, 1201 16th Street). Hernez-Broome will help participants connect the dots between what they do and why it matters. According to Hernez-Broome, authenticity, integrity, and honesty allow you to promote yourself with positive results. There is no cost to attend this event. Space is limited and refreshments will be served, so an RSVP is requested by May 31. Respond by phone to 303.446.5850.
