Several breakfast stations will be set up throughout Denver to support "Bike to Work Day"
University of the Rockies will be serving up pancakes to bikers participating in Colorado’s annual “Bike to Work Day” on June 26. The University’s station will be located at 16th Street and Arapahoe Street in downtown Denver and will be open from 6:30 to 9:00 a.m. Other station offerings include bike tune-ups courtesy of reCyclery, cold drinks and cowbells from USA Pro Challenge, chair massages from Downtown’s Healthcare, and more. About 25,000 individuals across Colorado are expected to take part in “Bike to Work Day.” The event represents a grassroots effort by cities, counties, transportation planners, community organizations, and others across the state to educate commuters about the benefits of getting to work on two wheels rather than four.
