Dr. Marilynn Force, faculty development specialist at University of the Rockies, has been formally appointed to the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center (SBDC) advisory board at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. The Denver Metro SBDC is the number one resource provider to small businesses in metro Denver. Helping businesses start, grow, and prosper for more than 25 years, the Denver Metro SBDC is able to provide its services through the support of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Dr. Force will begin her role in January 2014. Dr. Force’s teaching career has spanned 25 years, focusing on finance, accounting, and business education. Other disciplines taught have included entrepreneurship, development of entrepreneurial practices and mindsets, management issues focusing on communication and leadership, and learning processes within the business environment.
