Presentation focused on leveraging institutional climate to manage organizational change
On Monday, April 14, University of the Rockies president and CEO Dr. Charlita Shelton and vice provost Dr. Amy Kahn presented “From Data to Action: A Presidential Perspective on the Importance of Institutional Climate” at the Higher Learning Commission 2014 Annual Conference in Chicago, Ill. During the session, Drs. Shelton and Kahn discussed how they used data to make informed and strategic decisions for the University. They described the collaborative process that University of the Rockies used to respond to organizational change by gaining a deeper understanding for its people, honoring the voices in the community, and managing change based on the input they received. The Higher Learning Commission 2014 Annual Conference brought together thousands of administrators and faculty members from a wide range of higher education institutions located throughout the region overseen by the HLC for workshops and other informative presentations.
