Saturday, April 26 was designated “Heroes Day” for employees of University of the Rockies, Bridgepoint Education, and Ashford University. With coordinated volunteer events scheduled in Denver, Colo., San Diego, Calif., and Clinton, Iowa, hundreds of employees, their families, friends, and students donated their time to improve the communities where they live and work. In Denver, faculty and staff from University of the Rockies teamed up with employees from Ashford University to volunteer at the Mi Casa Resource Center.
