Gala event will honor the 25 most powerful women in the Denver area
Dr. Charlita Shelton, president and CEO of University of the Rockies, will present at the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s 2015 Gala on Tuesday, January 13. Titled “The Top 25 Most Powerful Women Gala: Powerful Women Turning the Tide,” the event will celebrate the accomplishments of women in the Colorado area and encourage their progress. “I am honored to be speaking to this great group of women. They come from a variety of different backgrounds and experiences and we are all helping to move Colorado forward,” said Dr. Shelton. University of the Rockies, a boutique graduate school focusing on social and behavioral sciences, has been a supporter of the CWCC for several years. The CWCC’s mission of supporting women in Colorado who make a difference aligns with the University’s core values. University of the Rockies is a premier sponsor of this year’s CWCC Gala.
