More than 8,000 women will be mentored at events across the U.S.
University of the Rockies will host the second annual Bizwomen Mentoring Monday on March 30, sponsored locally by the Denver Business Journal. The event offers attendees a chance to have one-on-one coaching sessions with some of the most influential women in the Denver area. Each mentoring session lasts for five minutes and attendees will be able to select from a panel of 40 mentors. In 2014, University of the Rockies President and CEO Dr. Charlita Shelton was chosen as a mentor. “I am proud to be able to have University of the Rockies host this event,” said Dr. Shelton. “As a former mentor, I know how much fun this event is and what a great opportunity it is for the women of Denver and the surrounding areas.” The Denver event will take place from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Bridgepoint Plaza, 1515 Arapahoe Street, Denver, Colo. 80202. A light breakfast will be served. To learn more and to register, visit the Denver Business Journal website or call 303-803-9278.
