Dr. H. Luis Vargas honored by the Colorado Association of Marriage and Family Therapists
Dr. H. Luis Vargas has been named Clinical Supervisor of the Year 2014 by the Colorado Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (COAMFT). Dr. Vargas is a core faculty member in the School of Professional Psychology at University of the Rockies, a leading graduate school focusing on the social and behavioral sciences. He received his award from COAMFT President Dr. Jenn Matheson. “I am very honored to be recognized by the local association for my efforts at promoting skillful clinicians,” said Dr. Vargas. The AAMFT is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy. The association represents the professional interests of more than 50,000 marriage and family therapists throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad. Within the Colorado region, AAMFT represents the professional interests of more than 800 marriage and family therapists, students, and associates.
