University of the Rockies, a graduate school specializing in psychology programs at the master's and doctoral levels, will host another Love and LogicÒ parenting workshop in its Counseling Center. The seven-week course begins January 12 and will meet Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The cost of the workshop is $35 per couple or family unit and $30 for single parents. It includes seven group sessions, a workbook, and access to books and audio CDs featuring the creators of Love and Logic. Registration may be completed by phone at 719.442.0606. Love and Logic seminars are offered globally to provide parents with tools and techniques to achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children. “The ‘Becoming a Love and Logic ParentÒ’ workshop is an introduction to the Love and Logic parenting style, which provides parents with tools to reduce stress in the home,” explains Emily Inman, an independent facilitator of Love and Logic programs and a doctoral student in the university’s clinical psychology program.
