University of the Rockies, a graduate school specializing in psychology programs at the master’s and doctoral levels, has been chosen as one of 54 companies in America to receive the 2011 Diversity Leader Award. The list of award recipients is selected by the Profiles in Diversity Journal.

Dr. Charlita Shelton, president of University of the Rockies, stated, “University of the Rockies is committed to diversity and inclusion. It’s more than a value statement for us – it is who we are. We are honored that the Profiles in Diversity Journal has recognized us for our work and named us a Diversity Leader.”

The Diversity Leader Award is presented to companies that share with the journal their successes in embracing diversity, and proclaim their commitment to diversity as an example to others.
