University of the Rockies, a graduate school specializing in psychology programs at the master’s and doctoral levels, announces the promotion of Dr. Lorraine White to Director of Clinical Training. In this role, White will work with practicum and internship students by finding and monitoring placements. She will also support students who work in the on-campus Counseling Center. The center provides low-cost psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families who have no third-party insurance or have only limited ability to pay. Doctoral students at University of the Rockies use the facility for on-site clinical training. White has served the University in many roles since 2000, most recently as a core faculty member. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado.
