University of the Rockies, a graduate school specializing in psychology programs at the master’s and doctoral levels, will hold its graduation ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 21. The ceremony will be held at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Students will travel from 19 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, to attend the ceremony. The graduating class will include 55 students – the largest class to graduate from University of the Rockies. Twenty-seven master’s degrees and 28 doctorate degrees will be conferred. The 2010 graduation ceremony also celebrates the first class of online students to graduate from the University. Remarks to the graduates will be delivered by Dr. Eric Lee, president and chief executive officer of the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Lee has a rich history of community service and was previously selected as one of the “30 Emerging Leaders Under 30” by Ebony Magazine. Media is invited to cover the graduation event.
