University of the Rockies Introduces Military Tuition Grant

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- University of the Rockies has announced the launch of an Active Duty Military Tuition Grant for university students serving on active duty in the U.S. military, as well as for drilling members of the National Guard and reserves, who pursue a master's or doctoral degree in Psychology or Organizational Leadership. 

The Active Duty Military Tuition Grant offers the following benefits, effective with the August 2009 term, to both on campus and online students:

  • the application fee will be waived
  • the technology fee will be waived
  • a $125 grant per credit hour for Master's degree students is offered (reduces the tuition rate to $515 per credit hour)
  • an $84 tuition grant per credit hour for Doctoral students is offered (reduces the tuition rate to $756 per credit hour)
  • all required books for the program of study, purchased through University of the Rockies' textbook partner, will be covered
