Recent News<< [Back to Recent News] University of the Rockies' Janet Brugger to serve as Citizen-at-Large for Pikes Peak Area Council of Government
Janet Brugger, director of academic resources for University of the Rockies, was recently nominated and selected as the Citizen-at-Large representative of the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG). As a member of the Community Advisory Committee, Brugger will serve a three-year term. PPACG is a voluntary association of 16 county governments that provide a forum to discuss issues that cross their political boundaries, identify shared opportunities and challenges, and develop collaborative strategies for action. PPACG assists local elected officials in making coordinated decisions affecting the development of all geographic areas of the Pikes Peak region. Programs impacted by the PPACG include the Area Agency on Aging, transportation planning, environmental impact planning, regional impact planning, military impact planning and the Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority.
