Psychology in the Courtroom Featured at Lunch
A free professional development lunch presented by University of the Rockies

Professional psychologists who participate in the legal process as expert witnesses will offer a free professional development luncheon at University of the Rockies. Drs. Allen Cornelius, Steven Gray and Gary Mears will present this free learning opportunity on Thursday, July 19 at 11:30 a.m.

The dynamic trio of core faculty members will tell stories, offer tips and answer questions about their experiences testifying in court as expert psychologists.

Dr. Gray has served as an expert in cases related to head trauma and toxic exposures, while Dr. Mears has testified in criminal cases. Dr. Cornelius will moderate the event, and will also share lessons from his courtroom experiences. Cornelius worked in the crime lab for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations for nine years before pursuing a career in psychology and research.

The workshop begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Harvey House Auditorium at University of the Rockies (555 East Pikes Peak Ave.). Lunch will be provided, so an RSVP is required by July 16. Call 866.442.0808 to register or for more information.
