Dr. Debora Scheffel to appear on "Devil's Advocate with Jon Caldara"

University of the Rockies’ dean of research, Dr. Debora Scheffel, will appear on the Aug. 17 episode of “Devil’s Advocate with Jon Caldara,” a current events news show. 

The weekly program is broadcast at 8:30 p.m. on Colorado Public Television and features lively roundtable debates. Scheffel appeared on the program on behalf of the Colorado Department of Education. She has been a member of the Colorado State Board of Education since 2010. 

The episode focuses on the importance of literacy in K-12 education, the role of higher education in preparing teachers, and the significance of recently passed legislation.
