University of the Rockies Offers Complimentary Seminar about Social Media for Business
Faculty member to discuss the importance of social media in organizations

On Thursday, March 6, 2014,  University of the Rockies professor Dr. Michelle Post, will present a complimentary professional development seminar titled Social Media Starts With Social. The seminar will be held at 12 p.m. (MT) at the University of the Rockies Denver Instructional Site in downtown Denver.

According to Dr. Post, “Social media is not a fad; in fact it is a requirement in today’s business world.” Post believes that businesses should embrace social media and make it an organizational initiative.

In her presentation, she will discuss what social media is and how to create “The Social Organization.” Dr. Post will also discuss where she believes social media is headed.
