University of the Rockies Announces Student Commencement Speaker Contest
Two graduating students will be selected to deliver speeches during the 2014 commencement ceremony

University of the Rockies has announced a contest to find inspirational speaker for the University’s 2014 commencement ceremony. One University of the Rockies doctoral graduate and one master’s graduate will be selected as winners.

Students interested in competing for this honor must submit all application materials by Friday, July 11, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. The speech should support the theme of Live Your Legacy. Interested students must:

  • Have met graduation requirements between November 2013 and October 2014
  • Be available for video auditions during the week of August 4-11, 2014
  • Commit to meeting with a speaking coach for a minimum of one hour during the month of September if they are chosen to speak at the ceremony
  • Attend the commencement ceremony on October 18, 2014 in Denver
