University of the Rockies to Host Boys & Girls Club Youth Development Conference

University of the Rockies, a leading graduate school focused on the social and behavioral sciences, will host the 2015 Rocky Mountain Youth Development Conference. The event will take place at University of the Rockies’ Denver Instructional Site on April 23-24, 2015, and will feature keynote speakers Clint Smith and Easton LaChappelle.

At the conference, attendees will get a chance to learn from and network with youth service providers and professionals. There will be sessions discussing human trafficking, using art to engage and empower youth, and increasing equity and culturally responsive consciousness.

“Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is thrilled to continue their partnership with University of the Rockies,” said Chanin Strassburger, professional development and quality coordinator for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. “Through this partnership, we are able to advance the field of youth development by offering high quality sessions during our state-wide conference.”
