National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements Lists University of the Rockies as an Institutional Participant
Initiatve will make it easier for students to take online classes at institutions in other states

The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) has identified University of the Rockies as an institutional participant in the SARA  initiative, a new voluntary agreement designed to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions that are based in another state.

SARA is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes national standards for how to offer interstate postsecondary distance education courses and programs. It also establishes a state-level reciprocity process that will support federal efforts to make higher education more attainable for students. The objective of the SARA initiative is to make state authorization more efficient, more effective, and less costly for states, institutions, and students.

University of the Rockies will be listed on the SARA website as an approved SARA institution in Colorado. To learn more about the SARA initiative, visit the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements website at www.nc-sara.org.
